Paul left school to work for the solicitors practise now known as “Berrymans” in Manchester.  He qualified as a solicitor in 1984, and is one of the senior partners at the firm. Paul has taken on the role of managing partner, a position which has become increasingly necessary due to recent rapid expansion. The firm was formed by Peter and Paul who have been friends for many years in December 1985.

Paul has had experience in most areas of the law but has specialised in conveyancing and property matters since the firm opened. Paul leads a team dealing in non-contentious business matters.

The high media profile that the firm now enjoys started, when Paul, was interviewed by Alan Beswick, on BBC Radio Manchester one morning, and then by Granada TV the same evening.  The interview was about how the firm was planning to take proceeding against the Home Office owing to mistakes made in Drink Driving Cases - See the story elsewhere on our news page.  

Paul is single and is an accomplished water-skier. He has been representing his country at international level for several years now. He has skied in  several countries around the world for Great Britain and has won several individual and team medals. Is there an age limit for the sport?

He is based at our firm’s office in Poynton and is in charge of finances.
