Position: Partner, and Head of the Child Abuse Compensation Department, Legal Aid Franchise Representative, Cheadle Hulme Office

Peter was articled to A.W. Mawer & Co solicitors (now Berrymans Lace Mawer) in Manchester, where he met Paul McDonald. He has been a solicitor in Private Practise since 1981, and  is the partner in charge of the Cheadle Hulme office. He is Vice President and Founder member of
 ACAL (Association of Child abuse Lawyers). He has designed and maintains their Web Site.

Peter is Head of the Child Abuse Department at Cheadle Hulme and a Personal Injury Panel member. He is in charge of personnel and is the Complaint Partner for the Cheadle Hulme Office.

Peter has lectured and written on the subject of child abuse litigation in legal journals and the national press. (To view articles he has written go to the Articles Page.) He has been interviewed by several leading national newspapers and Television Stations.

He gives up quite a lot of his time to do charitable work both for learning disabled people and child abuse. He is the Secretary of a charity known as Abuse Watch in the North West of England.
