The Redbank group applies to any person who was subjected to "abuse, maltreatment and assault, whilst resident at Redbank School, Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside". Most of the claims are historical and result from an investigation by Merseyside Police ("Operation Care").

Legal Proceedings have been issued at Manchester High Court, and a Group Litigation Order was made on 10th November 2000. Strictly speaking the group is closed as all legal proceedings had to be issued before 7th December 2001. Late comers however are not rejected automatically. For more information email us.
