In
a letter from the Assistant Chief Constable of Merseyside Police
dated 9th March 2005 John
Robbins received well earned thanks for "the part
you played over a 5 year period in leading Police and Social
Services teams investigating the allegations of crime committed
in residential establishments throughout Merseyside",
which was otherwise known as "Operation Care". The
letter goes on:-
"Yourself and the team did an outstanding job in bringing
to justice a large number of perpetrators of the most outrageous
cases of brutality and sexual assault. Perhaps, even more importantly,
you provided the opportunity for some of the most vulnerable
members of society to realise there was someone there to listen
to their complaints and bring their tormentors to account.
I thank you on behalf of the Committee for your outstanding
contribution to caring for the welfare of the former residents
of care homes, and feel that you should take enormous pride
in the undoubted overall success of the operation."
We at Abney Garsden McDonald feel enormously priveliged to
have the experience and dedication which John
Robbins brings to the type of work we do and its continued
success in helping the vulnerable clients some sort of justice. |
