They say "We exist to give voice to the experience of people who have been sexually abuse and to provide a space that by its very existence challenges feelings of shame and self blame. In the often perceived hopelessness and despair of such trauma the reality of meeting another, one who has undertaken that journey themselves, offers hope and encouragement. The creation of a community that bears witness to the isolating and silenced reality of sexual abuse fundamentally changes that reality" Cork Rape Crisis Centre 5 Camden Place, Cork, Ireland Tel 021 450 5577; Open Mon to Fri 9am-5pm Helpline 353 1800 496 496; Open Mon to Fri 9am-5pm E-Mail Enquiries and Support info@cork-rapecrisis.ie Website www.cork-rapecrisis.ie Information, support, counselling, group work and outreach for all survivors of rape, assault and child sexual abuse over 13.
