Peter was articled to A.W. Mawer & Co solicitors (now Berrymans Lace Mawer) in Manchester. He has been a solicitor in Private Practise since 1981and is the Senior partner in charge of the Cheadle Hulme office. Peter is also the Vice President and a Founder member of ACAL (Association of Child abuse Lawyers). Peter is Head of the Child Abuse Department at Cheadle Hulme and a Personal Injury Panel member. His responsibilities include personnel, marketing and IT and he is the Complaint Partner for the Cheadle Hulme Office. Peter has lectured and written on the subject of child abuse litigation in legal journals and the national press. (To view articles he has written go to the articles page). Peter has also been interviewed by several leading national newspapers and Television Stations. He gives up quite a lot of his time to do charitable work both for learning disabled people and child abuse.
