Action On Elder Abuse - This website gives some useful tips on possible signs of abuse.

Age Concern - Offers information and advice, on a wide range of issues. Local groups are listed in the telephone directory under Age Concern. Some offer advocacy services.

Caring Matters - A national charity helping patients, carers, and professionals to make informed decisions about long-term care 

Citizens Advice Bureau - runs ‘Adviceguide’ which gives basic advice and information on people’s rights. It gives a broad outline of your legal position what you can do. If problems are complicated, it is more appropriate to contact Citizen’s Advice Bureaux (directions are available on site)

Help the Aged - a UK-based charity which provides practical support to help older people live independent lives, particularly those who are frail, isolated or poor.  They are a major partner with AEA in challenging elder abuse.

CSCI (Commission for Social Care Inspection - the regulatory body that inspects homes and licences them.
