to the left The Practice was formed in December 1985 by the current partners, Peter Garsden and Paul McDonald, and was initially based at Cheadle. In 1987 a second office was opened at Poynton. New Premises - The continued expansion of the Child Abuse department created a severe shortage of space at the Cheadle office. Finally suitable premises adjacent to the railway station in Cheadle Hulme, which were formally Barclays bank, were purchased and refurbished. The Cheadle office closed down and moved to 37, Station Road Cheadle Hulme on 20th November 2000 into premises over twice the size of the existing premises.
Services to the general practice side of the business are provided via local citizens advice bureaux and Information Centres, local Courts , the Accident Legal Advice Scheme and other local professional contacts. The child abuse work on the other hand comes from recommendations via the Police, Law Society, Pressure groups, the Media, and other professional sources. |
